The Patient Journey

We treat the root causes of illness, not just symptoms, to help reverse chronic diseases and reduce reliance on prescription drugs. We take a deep dive into what you eat, how your sleep, your levels of stress, your relationships, your personal body chemistry, and we co-design, with you, the best approach to guide you toward optimal health.

Frequently Asked Questions

You may pay by check, credit card, or HSA debit card.

We do have payment plans for our programs. This allows all who truly wish to improve their health to be able to work with us.

No. We do not accept insurance for office visits. Upon request, we can provide you with a copy of your invoices which YOU can submit to your insurance company. We cannot guarantee what reimbursement, if any, you may receive. We do not submit claims or call insurance companies directly. This is the responsibility of the patient.

Sometimes. In attempts to keep program costs down we are partnered with certain lab companies that process through most insurance companies guaranteeing a lower fixed amount. Some specialty labs may not be covered by your insurance plans. Please check with your insurance company regarding deductibles and reimbursement for out-of-network labs. It is not the responsibility of the Moday Center to understand your individual insurance coverage.

Every plan is unique. We work with you to customize testing orders based on your health needs and personal preferences.

We do not participate with Medicare, nor do we bill Medicare.

Unfortunately, when doctors participate with insurance carriers, they enter into a contract that allows the insurance companies to dictate what services will be supplied limiting the quality of care that we believe you deserve. As the costs of keeping a clinic running has continued to rise, reimbursement has fallen forcing most doctors to see more and more patients a day, keeping office visits very brief. We believe this is substandard care and does not allow us to practice the in-depth, expert model of Functional and Integrative medicine.

No. We do not treat anyone under 21 years of age.

Most people will be benefited from a functional medicine health program. However, please refer to the conditions we treat and don’t treat here. We are unable to answer specific medical questions pertaining to your case outside of a Wellness Consultation.

Prices are quoted individually as functional medicine is never a one-size-fits-all approach. You will receive a program price at the end of your new patient wellness consultation based on your health goals and needs.

We are located at 110 S. 20th street in the Rittenhouse square neighborhood of Center City Philadelphia. Our building is between Chestnut and Sansom streets and our suite is on the 4th floor.

We are accessible by the Septa bus routes 9,12,17,21 and 42 amongst others. We are a 5-block walk from Suburban train station and quick cab ride away from 30th street station.

Park America at 2027 Sansom St., EZ-Park at 109 S. 20th street, and Allied parking on the corner of 20th and Sansom. There is 2 and 3-hour street parking available as well.

We are constantly updating the functional medicine tests we offer based on emerging scientific data. We use laboratories such as Genova Diagnostics, Spectracell Laboratories, Cyrex, Precision Analytical, Boston Heart Diagnostics, Vibrant America, and others.

Absolutely, we encourage you to take notes as well. However, we ask you to find childcare for any small children or infants as the appointments are lengthy.

Mondays-Thursdays 9am-5pm by appointment only.

No, we do not function as a primary care provider and recommend that you keep a relationship with a primary doctor for sick visits and regular screening exams. We are more than happy to work along side them as a consultant.

This depends on the complexity of your problem. We require at least a 6 month engagement, as we understand there needs to be significant dietary and lifestyle changes and time for treatments to result in significant change. Most clients work with us for 12 months or more.

No. We do not fill out FMLA (family medical and disability Act) forms. If a letter is required for other reasons, such as medical necessity, there will be a charge of $25.00 per letter.
