The Moday Center is a fee for service practice and payment is due at the time of service. We accept credit cards, checks and cash as payment. We regret that we do not have payment plans at this time.
Initial consultations will last 90 minutes and you should plan for that time. Generally after the first visit there will be a 60-minute follow-up visit 4-6 weeks later to review lab results and go over a treatment plan. Additional follow-ups (usually shorter check-ins) would happen every 2-3 months depending on how things are working for you.
Why we don’t accept insurance for payment
Dr. Moday does not participate in-network with any insurance providers. Unfortunately, when doctors participate with insurance carriers, they enter into a contract that allows the insurance companies to dictate what services will be supplied as well as how much the doctor will be reimbursed for that visit. As the costs of keeping a clinic running has continued to rise, reimbursement has fallen forcing most doctors to see more and more patients a day, keeping office visits very brief. We believe this is substandard care and does not allow us to practice the in-depth, expert model of Functional and Integrative medicine.
While we do not accept insurance, we are able to provide the necessary paperwork for you to submit to your insurance company in order for you to be reimbursed for out-of-network services. Please contact your insurer directly to find out what your policy covers.
Most laboratory services provided by LabCorp or Quest can be billed directly to your insurance plans. However some specialty labs may not be covered by your insurance plans. Please check with your insurance company regarding deductibles and reimbursement for out-of-network labs. It is not the responsibility of the Moday Center to understand your individual insurance coverage.
We do not participate with Medicare, nor do we bill Medicare for any services rendered.
